Q. Whats the minimum number of cupcakes I can order?

Minimum order quantity for cupcakes is 12. They are also sold in batches of 12s too. Sometimes I offer quantities of 4's during special occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.



Q. Can I mix cake flavours?

Yes. For cupcakes the minimum you can mix is 6 i.e. a box of 12 having two flavours. If your having tiered celebration cakes, you can have a different flavour for each tier too.


Q. How much do your cakes cost?

Prices depend on craftsmanship, time to create, decorations, flavours and, sometimes packaging (e.g. for cupcakes). Our Price Guide will give you an idea of some costs. For a quote, please Get in Touch


Q. How far in advance do I need to order my cake?

For standard cakes I recommend a minimum of three weeks notice to ensure your date is available. However please note that a lot of customers are booking with me a month or two in advance so if possible, booking sooner is highly advised . As much as possible I will however do my best to accommodate cakes at a later notice if time permits.


Q. Can I collect my cake?

Yes, all cakes are available for collection from me in Sidcup. Further details will be given at time of order.


Q. Do you deliver?

Yes. Our cakes are delivered safely and with care by our same-day courier and is charged accordingly. We will need your postcode to calculate delivery charge.

For cakes that require setting-up e.g. 4 tiers or more, special arrangements will be made.

Some of our cupcakes can be mailed throughout the UK.

For Wedding Cakes, we deliver throughout the UK (see Wedding Cakes).


Q. How do I make payment?

A 50% deposit is due on cakes over £100 and the balance is due 3 weeks before collection/delivery. Full payment is due if your cake booking less than this or, is within the 3 weeks to collection/delivery. We accept Klarna, all major credit and debit card, Paypal and bank transfer further details of these can be provided at time of booking.


Q. I want the sponge of my baby shower cake to be coloured, can this be done?

Certainly, as well as having red sponge you can definitely have a pink or blue sponge which works great for baby shower cakes and children's cake.



Q. Can you make gluten and dairy free cakes?

Yes.


Q. How do I store my cake?

Sponge Cakes

Cakes should be stored in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight or heat. Sponge cakes will stay fresh for up to a week if stored well, in its box, wrapped in cling film or, in an airtight container however during hot weather, like all foods shelf-life may decrease. To extend the shelf-life of cakes simply wrapped in cling film and freeze them for up to 4 months.

Cupcakes

Cupcakes will keep for 2 to 3 days if stored well.

Fruitcakes

Wrapped well in cling film and in the freezer, fruitcakes can keep for up to 1 year.

 

DO NOT REFRIGERATE cakes as this will cause them to dry out.
